OK everybody, this is the post you all had been so apprehensive about, and this is the post that you had harboured within your minds along with the nagging feeling of "shall I make it?" or "am I good enough for the award?"

And my dear readers, the time has come (as the Walrus said) to talk of many things ... and what better thing to talk about than the biggest event the Blogosphere has ever-witnessed.

PS: The cheerleaders seem to be late ... damn! they are all prepaid!!!

First, and foremost:

I extend a hearty congratulations to myself, for reaching a half-century of Blog Posts ... the going has been tough ... but i guess i was tough enough to keep going when the going got tough! A peek into my Blog Archive will tell you that in the first 25 posts of my blog, I accumulated a total of 10 comments ... but i held on, and ... now I guess I don't have much to worry about (Now I have 218 comments in all) :)

I shall request our Chief Guest this evening, Mr. Chee F. Gest to kindly come up on stage to light the .... damn what do you call those? ... whatever, he seems to have understood ...
and without further delay I shall proceed directly to the awards ceremony ...
