No, I am not referring to Christie's masterpiece. What I am referring to is this green beauty, which decided to stop by our terrace yesterday. Now my mum's a flower crazy mum, and always makes sure that the otherwise bland terrace at the back of our house remains colourful all year round. As a result it's always brimming with lilies, hibiscuses (in five colours), and ... er ... others whose names i don't quite recollect now. Now, she managed to obtain sunflower seeds, from somewhere, and after patient nurturing, against all odds (read crows, sparrows) she managed to convert them into handsome folk, with 10 cm diameter sunflowers atop each branch. As a result it caught the eyes, and the beak of this green birdie, whom I managed to shoot ... with my camera I mean. Here are the pics:
